Week 12 June 25th -July 1st
After school the next day we went to another island in the tender. We had a little snorkel and saw lots of very small fish. When we got to the island we had a picnic lunch on the beach. After lunch I buried daisy up to her neck in sand. When we got back to the boat me and Daisy paddled to the beach in the canoe.
The next day we took the tender into town. We went to the Crows Nest for breakfast and I had French toast. After breakfast we went to do some shopping. After we had been shopping we went to the crows nest and picked up some packed lunches and some pies. After we had taken everything to the boat we went to a different island in the tender. We anchored the tender and then waded in to a big beach. We had our picnic lunch that we got from the crows nest. After lunch we took the tender back to the boat. Later on we went to the swallows cave again. The cave had lots of swallows nests on the roof. On the way out of the cave I saw lots of leaches crawling out of holes in the cliff. After we came back we had supper and went to bed.
The next day we moved anchorages to one further out from the middle. It was very nice and it had a lovely beach running across the bay. Later on we went to the beach in the tender but to get in we had to go through a gap in the coral. When we got on to the beach me and Daisy made a big hole and then surrounded it with a wall of sand. When we got back to the boat we decided to move back to our first anchorage because the wind was getting up and we weren’t very protected.
The next day we went to brunch at the Crows Nest. After brunch we went to town to do some shopping. When we got back to the boat it was cloudy and grey, later on Daisy and I cleaned the tender.
The next day during school Mike arrived at the boat from Sydney. After school we went to have lunch at Café Tropicauna. We had a nice meal and then picked up some pies for lunch. After breakfast we moved anchorages to a place where there was a floating art gallery. Later on we went to a restaurant on the hill which was owned by the only four people who live on the island. After we had eaten our meal they gave us some maracas which we played while they played some different instruments, while we were playing the maracas a dog and a puppy came in, the puppy kept biting everything and the dog just sat down and watched us . As we were leaving they brought there goat to show us.
The next day we went to the floating art gallery, It was full of the Artists pictures. We then went for a snorkel where we saw lots of clown fish. Later on we took the tender around the island where we saw lots of fruit bats and our first parrot of the holiday which was bright green. When we got back to the boat we had supper before going to bed.
The next day was Daisy’s birthday, When she woke up she opened all of her presents. Later on we had a breakfast of French Toast with red berry sauce and a raspberry smoothie, it was really nice. After breakfast the wind got up and so I had a wind surf around the bay. Later on we had some of Daisys chocolate cake, for supper we had chicken.
