Week 14 July 9th - 14th
The following day we went Whale watching again, with sailing safaris. As we went around Blue Lagoon in their Whale watching boat the engine broke down. We waited for a while before someone brought out another boat to rescue us. When the person with the other boat arrived we swapped boats and they fixed the broken engine. We were just going back to our boat when we saw a whale. It started breaching and tail slapping and then it dived down and floated back to the surface. Mike tried swimming with it but it kept diving down. Eventually it left so we went back to the boat. In the Blue lagoon it wasn’t very sheltered anymore as the wind had got up so we moved anchorage back to the anchorage near the main harbour.
The next day there was no wind and the water was really calm so we took our boat out Whale Watching. We took the boat towards Mounu Island and anchored near a coral bommie. Mummy, Daddy and Mike went diving at the coral Bommie.
After they came back we saw a man with an axe making a canoe. After we had had a breakfast of pancakes we brought up the anchor and slowly took the boat Whale Watching past Mariners cave and into the main harbour. After we arrived we had showers and then went to supper at Mangoes.
The next day during school Campbell and his friend Scotty arrived at the boat. While Mike, Campbell and Scotty went for a coffee Daisy and I finished school. When they got back Daddy, Mummy, Daisy and I went for breakfast at the Crows Nest and did some shopping. When we got back to the boat Scotty and Campbell were tearing barnacles of the bottom of the boat. Campbell and I then had a jellyfish fight and Campbell put one down my shorts. Later on we took the boat round to the anchorage with the Ark gallery. For supper we went to supper at La Paella and played with the dogs, the goat and two children. After dinner Eduardo played guitar and we played Maracas.
The next day we went to the beach and played with the two children from La Paella. We played with them until lunch and then went back to the boat. After lunch we moved to and anchorage just outside of the main harbour. For supper we went to the restaurant on the beach called Tongan beach resort, we had a lovely supper and then went to bed.
The next day we all took the tender into the main harbour and then had breakfast at Café Tropicana. We then went to do a last shop before going back to the boat. At 11:00 am we left Tonga for Fiji.
