Week 16 July 23rd- 29th
The next day at about 7am we arrived in the harbour of Savu Savu. After we had arrived we went stern to at the dock. After we had gone stern to, Daddy, Mummy, Daisy and I took the tender around to the Copra shed to dump the rubbish and get some things from the shop. When we got back to the boat a lorry arrived with lots of fuel to fill up our tanks. After we had fuelled up we all went for lunch at the Copra shed. After lunch we went for a last shop and then moved the boat to a different island. As we came into the bay we were going to anchor in, we saw a Manta ray on the surface before it dived down. After we had anchored we had supper and went to bed.
The next day we went to a different island called Yadua which is a private nature reserve.
The next day we went for a snorkel of the beach which was some of the best snorkelling we had had since Sawaro. We saw a huge barracuda and lots of groupers.
Later on we moved anchorages to an island called Yusawa which was part of a group called the Yasawa.
This was the first group of islands which wasn’t green and lush because it was dryer. We went into a protected anchorage with a beach. Later on we went to the beach which was very nice and where we started collecting shells.
The next day Daisy and I went to the beach while Mummy and Daddy went for a snorkel. Daisy and I found some nice shells while Mummy saw a octopus. After we got back I went for a windsurf.
The next day we moved to an anchorage called Blue Lagoon. We went for a windsurf and then went for supper at the resort on the island.
The next day we went for a snorkel at the reef witch was disappointing because the coral was dead. Later on we went to an island called Naviti island. We anchored there and had a look at the resort if we could lunch but we couldn’t. Later on me and Daisy went to the beach while Mummy and daddy went for a snorkel.
The next day we found a poisonous sea snake on the back of the boat hiding under Daddy’s wet suit.
We went to Waya island which had a resort on called octopus resort. We went for lunch and Daisy and I played in the pool before Campbell and I went wind surfing.
