Week 18 6th-12th

 Vanuatu

On Thursday the 9th we left the hotel and took a flight from Savusavu to Nadi and then from Nadi to Port Villa, the capital of Vanuatu. Mike picked us up at the airport and then we went to the boat. It had taken Mike and Campbell three days to sail to Vanuatu, the first two days they had 5 knots of wind and a flat calm, but on the last day they hit a storm and had 35 knots of wind, and a large sea bird came onto the boat to take refuge in the cockpit, and stayed until they arrived in Port Villa.

When we arrived we had lunch then took a drive around the island and swam in some waterfalls before having super at a restaurant.

The next day we went to breakfast at a patisserie and then went to the fruit and veg market. Then we went back to the boat and did diaries. Later on Campbell, Mike and I went to the waterfalls but it was getting dark so we had to turn back before we reached the top and then Mummy, Daisy and Mike went for supper at a restaurant called Moos.

The next day we went for breakfast and then we moved anchorages, near to a coral bommie where everyone went for a dive or snorkel.

We then went to a more sheltered anchorage for the night.

The next day Mummy, Campbell and Mike went for a dive at the bommie while Daddy took Daisy and I water skiing.  Later on we had supper on the boat.
